Then, dear sisters, let us not disappoint the expectations of not only the Heaven, but also of the Earth. May this year be a year of renewal of our love, a year of a real deepening of our religious life! Let us pray to the Holy Spirit who washes away the stains of the soul, irrigates the withered, heals the wounds, softens up the stiff, warms the cold and corrects the wandering that he delivers us with his power from faulty habits and everything that draws us away from our true goal. Let him, the Giver of all gifts, soften our hearts with his presence and melt us in the heat of his love into brave daughters of the Church, into heroines of Christians love, into true sisters of Mercy.
